About Grouchy Grizzly
We have been in business selling products for exploring the out-of-doors for
28 years, but we have been enjoying and experiencing nature and the
out-of-doors for a lifetime. Twenty- eight years of experience in sporting
goods and exploring the outdoors, from Texas to Canada, has taught us to
always, and I mean always, be prepared with good gear. “Having the right
tools for the job” has been important to us many times. You need gear you
can depend on to do whatever the job, year after year! If you choose the
right quality of gear, it can be passed down to future generations of
outdoorsmen. Often times, the most expensive product will prove, in the
long run, to be the least expensive. Our motto in our store is: “If we haven
’t used it, we won’t sell it.” We feel strongly that if you buy good name
brands, with quality, you will insure yourself a quality experience in the
out-of-doors. Our staff has experience in helping you choose what is best
for the experience you are about to enjoy.
Thank goodness we still have millions of acres of public lands where quality
time can be spent alone. This allows our hearts, minds, and spirits to
wonder back to a yester years when the west was wild and free. We must be
mindful that God has given us moral obligations to watch over and care for
them wisely.
